Grace_Presentation
Presentation at Goddard College for her MA, Health, Arts and Sciences. (2012)

One of Grace’s key professional goals is to humbly serve as a conduit for bringing together all aspects of medicine, including traditional, indigenous and western practices. This is an extension of the philosophy of “holistic” medicine in that not only does she advocate treating the whole person, but also bringing the “whole” of known medicine to bear in treatment.

Presentations

Grace advocates for inclusiveness and connectivity with doctors, nurses and other health practitioners. As a presenter and speaker, she works to help other professionals to develop their own process, knowledge, and skills to improve their practices. In addition, Grace shares her knowledge on developing effective social/political networks, influencing groups (as opposed to just individuals) and improving skills in interdisciplinary communication and collaboration. In this building of the knowledge and effectiveness of other health practitioners, Grace seeks to improve health advocacy as a whole.

Workshops

In appreciation for the blessings of knowing indigenous healing arts of hilot massage, bentusa (heated suction cups), and others, Grace is very eager to train individuals (no experience necessary) and small groups who are open and willing to receive the love of these traditional healing arts. Sessions and methodology are designed according to the needs of the individuals without jeopardizing the ingenuity of the healing art. Grace realizes that each person learns in many different ways and workshops are designed according to the needs of the student.
