I practice a holistic approach with clients as we co-create an on-going collaborative, mindful, doable, effective and responsive process in health and well-being.
YOU AND I become partners as we trust the process in this journey. As a holistic nurse-health coach-hilot (Filipino health practitioner) I do
house calls when distance and time permits for preventive care, curative health management, restorative health, and maintenance of optimal health and well-being as you achieve longevity and healthy aging. This
holistic approach is a
whole person way which means that we look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? Do past events in your childhood affect your immune system? Do you have medications that make you constipated? What are your food choices that contribute to your cravings? What makes you want to wake up in the morning and be joyful the whole day? As we work together, we look at how all parts of your life affect the whole as we remember that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
Together we design and explore changes in nutrition, lifestyle, mindset, and behavior to meet your goals as we remember some key points in growth and healing.
- The concept of bio-individuality means each person has his/her own nutritional needs. So, when the experts say, dairy is good for you or fat is unhealthy, it’s too much of a generalization. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets don’t work in the long run. I look at your age, health, activity level, blood type, metabolic rate, lab works and personal preferences to determine your dietary needs.
- No one diet works for everyone. No one herb cures all. No one owns the truth.
- Indigenous-integrative-complementary-functional medicine and others work best under proper supervision of a qualified health care practitioner.
- Everything is food. Healthy relationships, fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a spiritual practice are essential forms of nourishment. When these primary foods are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary.
- Healing arts from your culture are within your reach.
- There’s power in collective efforts. Collective consciousness matters in personal health, contentment and safety.
- Detoxification (elimination of toxins and the addition of liver support for Phase 1 and 2) is a good place to start. After all, you can’t put a new wine in an old bottle.
- Active listening for intense conversations with unscripted dialogue provides a sincere opportunity to be heard.
- We attract healthy solutions when we are ready to invest with our whole being.
With permission, I practice health advocacy for collaboration with my client’s primary physician and others working towards the same goals.
I suggest lab works/tests (blood, urine and saliva).
I do energetic testing for identification of blockages, health restoration and optimum maintenance
I recommend high-quality excipient free supplements (oral and external including healing creams and mudpacks) from live sources considered superfoods and medicine of the ancient and indigenous cultures.
We monitor everything related to your experiences (actions-responses-results-progress-revisions-feelings and more)
I make an assessment of the client’s bio-markers and help understand ways that lead to optimal health and well-being.
Grace’s process is wrapped to inspire you to practice four C’s: Courage, Confidence, Clarity and Compassion as you simplify healthy longevity. She gently escorts you for a daily practice of Gratitude, Resilience, Acceptance, Caring and Embrace of all beings that includes and begins with YOU.
