Happy Thanksgiving!  Don’t let anyone take the JOY out or your life! It’s great to feel great. How do  we do that? Be thankful! Get your smart phone and write in your notes the first 10 things that you  want to be thankful for. Don’t think too much.  Whatever comes in your mind.  I like you to use your cell phone  so you can constantly see what you wrote.  If you are most people, you are constantly  checking your phone.  From the moment you wake up till the moment you close your eyes to sleep.  We might as well use technology to our advantage to remind us the many blessings that we take for  granted. It seems trivial to write them down but what I noticed is when I do it, I feel great doing it. It  helps me not to be so sad about things that I cannot change.  It helps me to ruminate on what’s most important in life – presence.

Here’s what I  have!  Do yours!

.

We need GRATITUDE ritual to FEEL JOY.  Joy is an antidote to depression that is considered as another vital sign to be assessed in managing health and wellness throughout life. Your risk to chronic health conditions including auto-immune diseases is higher when you have history of depression.

No matter what the circumstances are live up to the word Thanksgiving Day.

Savor the moment.  Fill your cup with JOY.
