To get the winter holiday crap out of your system,  I suggested 4 DAILY TIPS for you in my previous Part 1 article. They are as follows:
  •  Have an abundant quality sleep (10 AM till 6:00 AM).
  •  Increase water intake (double up whatever amount your drinking now)
  •  Play outdoor when safe.
  •  Prepare a home-made steam inhalation.

 I have an additional 4 TIPS for you.  All of them are doable, practical, manageable and sustainable.

  • Add more green vegetablesin every meal.  With all the phytonutrients/enzymes/fibers that you can get from the green vegetables, you can be assured that all of these will come together for as help for your body to do its work of cleansing and restoration.  There is an intense networking among cells, organs, systems and all biological processes taking place inside and connecting to life outside our body such as our relationship with the earth and the universe we live in.
  •  Avoid refined sugars (i.e brown sugar, white sugar, high corn fructose syrup) and minimize healthier alternative type of sugars. (i.e agave, honey) SUGAR rush occurs in both refined and alternatives that contributes to INSULIN rush and to INSULIN resistance leading to all other debilitating conditions such as diabetes, osteo-arthritis, depression,mood-swings, dementia, and candida overload to name a few.
  • Meditate regularly.  I find that even 5 minutes of meditation in the morning and evening is like a breath of fresh air as you start and end your day. Expanding the duration or frequency is highly recommended. Just promise to do it and see what happens.  If you miss your intended schedule, start all over again.  Meditation practice helped me practice letting go or non-attachment as you exhale. Welcome gentleness and kindness to your self as you inhale.
  • Dry brush/scrub your body with a skin brushor a wash cloth.  If your body is extra sensitive, do it softly. I grew up using a special type of rock to scrub my body.  if it is a rock, we do it when our body is wet. Great for healthy skin which is our first line of defence. It promotes circulation, stimulates energy currents in the body and activates our lymphatic system.
I wish I have helped you in one or another.  I have used all of these tips for myself, family, friends and clients. I did not wait for research studies to prove what works for me.  I encourage you to use your natural intelligence to explore what works for you.
