The immigration and acculturation of Filipino nurses around the world saved many lives and influenced many other health care professionals of other descent to be as loving and compassionate as one can be as each patient is cared for like their own family. In our culture, caring comes naturally. This is one strong thread that weaves Filipino nurse leaders-healers in all situations.

Acknowledging, knowing and embracing one’s cultural lineage is a wonderful resource like a go to website where we can remember the values and practices that  will sustain our health and happiness. Getting together periodically and intentionally is one of those that Filipinos enjoy and becomes a necessity being away from our native land.

In all spiritual beliefs, coming together as a circle creates energetic waves that inspire, and empower the goodness inherent in us reminding us that we are connected to one another constantly and with intention our consciousness can transcend and transform realities into miracles whatever that might be.

I am humbly honored and grateful to be present at the 2015 Annual PNA ( Philippine Nurses’ Association of New Jersey yet  Health and Wellness Conference.  I felt the radiance of the leadership and kinship within the organization an the support of other nursing organizations such as NJSNA. (New Jersey State Nurses’ Association.

Peace and blessings to all
